The purpose of this workshop is two-fold: 1) to introduce participants to the Students as Partners Approach as one example of an equitable teaching practice and 2) to provide participants with an opportunity to brainstorm how they can also partner with their students in their own courses. We will explore these topics by hearing from students in the DEI concentration who participated in the SAP approach to course design and dialoguing about how this approach can be applied to your course.
