When your students experience harm because of something that was shared, your "in the moment" neurological and physiological responses can act as a tool rather than a hindrance. We will explore evidence-based practices and strategies rooted in neuroscience and embodied pedagogy that will help you ground yourself and make informed decisions before you take action.
Designing Blended Courses (Part 3): Assignment Design
You are invited to attend the PTF Info Session and Mixer on Monday, October 25 at 2:30pm in the Glickman Conference Center to meet with current and alumni PTFs, learn about the program, and hear an overview of the annual application process.
This session will describe the UT Counseling and Mental Health Center's Well-being in Learning Environments project that collaborates with faculty to support student mental health. During the session, we will learn about and practice various wellness strategies, including expressing gratitude, developing a growth mindset, and being self-compassionate.
