Navigating Mentoring Relationships for Graduate Students

This workshop will help graduate students and postdoctoral scholars establish strong mentoring relationships and navigate mentoring challenges. Participants will review and discuss a set of tools to help them start strong with a new mentor, and collectively share and diagnose specific mentoring challenges, including how to gracefully exit harmful mentoring relationships. This workshop is the second in a series created by the Graduate Student Mentoring Committee in partnership with the Faculty Innovation Center and Texas Career Engagement.
