UT's Faculty Innovation Center (FIC) is partnering with the Graduate School and UT Libraries to host our fourth Graduate Teaching Showcase to highlight excellent graduate student teaching at UT Austin.

The first workshop focuses on interactions that allow students to voice their thoughts, connections, or opinions to widen their conceptual views and solidify their arguments with peers.

The UT OER Working Group (UT Libraries, Texas Digital Library, and COERLL) is organizing another Intro to OER Workshop during Open Education Week

The Disability Studies Awareness Speaker Series is a monthly event organized by the Texas Center for Disability Studies in partnership with colleges across the University of Texas in an effort to raise awareness, share knowledge, and learn how to incorporate DS into the classroom and UT environment.

This book club is designed to encourage instructors to discuss how they can develop wicked courses.

This workshop will start with brief commentaries by a panel of UT-community members followed by a “resource fair”.

Creating opportunities for students to provide feedback can improve their own learning experiences and instructor effectiveness. In this workshop, you will learn how mid-semester feedback can be used to create a supportive classroom, different strategies for collecting and analyzing mid-semester feedback, and how to share what you’ve learned from student feedback to increase student engagement.

The PTF Forward Sessions are deeper dive-style discussions aimed at faculty and campus administrators about topics important to PTFs and to the UT Campus Community.

Session 1: Inclusive Teaching and Learning. What makes a course inclusive? What can instructors do to foster inclusive teaching and learning? What can the university do?
