The Provost's Teaching Fellows Program empowers faculty to advance education in two ways: through individual initiatives that improve teaching and learning at UT, and through campus-wide events that promote the quality of education and its status in the campus culture. The PTF Program operates in conjunction with and is supported by the Center for Teaching and Learning.

There will be many wonderful opportunities during February facilitated by CTL and the wider teaching and learning community.

During this last full week of classes, we know everyone has winter break in their sights. Join us on Dec. 11 for a moment to pause and celebrate. Academic Affairs will now administer awards specific to teaching. These new awards allow the UT community to recognize faculty member contributions toward our teaching, service, and learning missions. Currently, all awards are open, please find deadlines and nomination information below:

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is partnering with the Graduate School and UT Libraries to host our 7th Graduate Teaching Showcase which highlights excellent graduate student teaching at UT Austin. The centerpiece of the Showcase is a series of personal narratives about teaching presented by students from across campus.

Eight members of the Provost’s Teaching Fellows program shared the results of their PTF Initiatives at the PTF Annual Showcase on Friday, April 1 in the PCL.
