Join your fellow early career faculty colleagues for the latest installment in our Early Career Teaching Connections series!
Have you ever wanted to know what UT students are doing outside the classroom? How do your students' community and campus involvement affect and build upon their educational experiences? This opportunity to interact directly with students and learn about their experiences outside of the classroom will offer a meaningful way to better engage with your students inside the classroom. In this event, faculty will meet with ambassadors of different student-facing organizations and campus programs to learn about students’ experiences in a lively, interactive format.
Each organization and program's ambassadors, comprised of current students and university staff, will provide potential questions early career faculty may have about the organization, student involvement, or other related topics. Participants will rotate through each organization's table and have a "speed chat" with each, then continue any lingering conversations over lunch.
