Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Workshop & Discussion

Through this workshop and discussion, students (advanced undergraduate and graduate) will have a unique opportunity to learn about:

• What the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) is (generally, and in the UT-Austin context)
• Presenting and publishing peer-reviewed scholarship in the context of their own learning (and/or teaching)
• Collaborative and co-researching opportunities with faculty and other students

Students attending the workshop and discussion will shape how the Center for Teaching & Learning at The University of Texas at Austin defines the participation of students as co-researchers in SoTL.

On April 12th, select students will be able to speak directly with editors and associate editors of SoTL journals  (attendance of Friday’s workshop is required for this additional opportunity).
