The recipients of last year’s Undergraduate Teaching Grants would like to share their stories of their journey implementing an innovation based on one of the Principles of Effective Teaching. They are willing to share their success and challenges with you and help you include some of their ideas into your courses. Join us on Fridays to finish the week on an upbeat note.

 

 

The purpose of this workshop is two-fold: 1) to introduce participants to the Students as Partners Approach (SAP) as one example of an equitable teaching practice and 2) to provide participants with an opportunity to brainstorm how they can also partner with their students in their own courses. We will explore these topics by hearing from students in the DEI concentration who participated in the SAP approach to course design and dialoguing about how this approach can be applied to your own course.
