Senior Faculty Development Specialist, Engaged Learning

Anne Braseby (She/hers) is an Educational Consultant in the Center for Teaching and Learning. She develops and presents many faculty workshops, consults with individual faculty and facilitates Faculty Learning Communities. She is particularly interested in helping students develop collaborative learning skills and working together in successful teams. Her professional life as a teacher started in England after which she became a global nomad and international educator teaching in five different countries. She obtained her PhD at Florida International University then taught Sociology and Anthropology at FIU and FAU using various collaborative methodologies including Team- Based Learning, Problem-Based Learning and Collaborative Learning Groups. Various universities have invited her to speak on Team-Based Learning, Course Design, Active Learning and Collaborative Learning. She has published articles on Team-Based Learning and the Flipped Classroom. Email Anne.
