Michael Sury
Associate Professor of Practice
Michael Sury, an Associate Professor of Practice in the Department of Finance, specializes in analytic finance and machine learning, capital markets, and valuation. Additionally, he serves as the Managing Director of the McCombs Center for Analytics and Transformative Technologies and oversees the Financial Analytics track within the MS in Business Analytics program. He has an extensive background in both industry and academia, including senior-level positions in investment banking, securities trading, and asset management, as well as nearly 20 years of teaching at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels.
