Collaborative Learning Community Grant Proposals
The Collaborative Learning Community (CLC) Grant is open to all instructors (graduate student and postdoctoral instructors, lecturers, tenure-track, clinical, tenured), interested in collaborating with undergraduate or graduate students, co-instructors, inter- or intra-departmental colleagues or members of the Austin community to better enhance engagement, wellness, resilience, and belonging in the different learning spaces they co-create. Applications are due at 5:00 PM CST on Monday, May 12, 2025.

RISE 2025 Cohort
RISE is a summer cohort for early-career UT faculty focused on building teaching skills, confidence, and community. Open to faculty in their first 5 years, shown an increase in 50% tenure appointment for faculty, the program includes five sessions on topics like course design, assessment, and student engagement, plus casual lunch networking. Participants earn a digital badge and stipend. Apply Now

Brush up on your AI knowledge
With classes over time, time to brush up on generative AI in Teaching and Learning. Our resource helps faculty, instructors, and grad students navigate the benefits, challenges, and complexities of using generative AI in higher education. It provides practical advice on course design, policy, assessment, and incorporating AI tools into teaching. Explore further to get answers and events to critical questions, as well as examples of AI-based assignments.

"Designing a Well-Crafted Course" Toolkit
Working alongside colleagues in Academic Affairs, the Center for Teaching and Learning is excited to share a new instructional toolkit and resource for designing effective courses using evidence-based practices and researched insights. This Canvas resource contains examples, recommendations and worksheets to help you get started in designing a new course or taking a closer look at your existing courses. Over the coming year, our resource will continue to grow as new resources and stories of impact emerge at UT.
