Stock Images Database for Healthcare Representation
As part of their PTF initiative's goal of creating protocols and resources to better streamline the creation and regular updating of course materials, Osier created this Stock Images Database in Airtable to collect sources of free, online images featuring a broader spectrum of body types, skin colors, and other key elements which are vital to medical education. By utilizing a myriad of imagery depicting medical conditions and other relevant illustrations, Database users are able to better educate their students in what different medical conditions and diseases look like on different human bodies.
The database is periodically updated as it’s used to update Osier's own current lectures and create new lecture materials. It is available to be shared with other faculty for their course materials, as well as with students to assist with presentations. Recommendations for missing resources can be sent to Osier via email for potential contribution.
Access the Stock Images Database in Airtable via this link, which will prompt the user to log into or make a free Airtable account.
