PTF Sarah Sloan co-presented a session at the 2023 National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in Higher Education (NCORE) on May 31, 2023 in New Orleans, Louisiana. NCORE is sponsored by the University of Oklahoma, and its mission is to provide a leading forum for higher education professionals to explore and address the complexities of human differences—including cultural, social, and personal identities—and their profound impacts on access, opportunity, and success.

The session, titled Infusing CRT to Make Curricular Change: Wins, Challenges, and Lessons Learned, featured research and practices based in Sloan's Provost's Teaching Fellows Initiative and its effects in the Steve Hicks School of Social Work. Sloan co-presented with fellow SHSW faculty Esther Calzada, Cossy Hough, and Sarah Swords.
