Whether intentional or unintentional, unexpected comments and interactions that happen in our classrooms, meetings, and around campus can cause discomfort for or even harm to you, your colleagues, or students. Doing nothing can be damaging for all involved. This facilitated discussion will draw upon evidence-based practices, to help faculty respond to unexpected and uncomfortable moments whenever they happen, in any context.
