Celebrating 10 Years of Flags at UT
Skills & Experience Flags Symposium
Friday, Oct. 11, 9:00 a.m.-4:00pm
Student Activity Center (SAC) Ballroom
Breakfast and lunch will be served
Join us for a symposium showcasing how the Flags have enhanced undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Austin over the past decade. Faculty, staff, and graduate students who have taught or otherwise engaged with flagged courses are encouraged to submit a proposal. Topics may include, but are not limited to: the process of developing a course to carry a Flag, your experience teaching a flagged course, innovative pedagogical strategies or assignments you’ve used to teach Flag-related content or skills, or the value that a flagged course has brought to the student experience. Presenters should plan on 10-15 minutes, with time for Q&A.
We will also have a student poster session running concurrently with the symposium.
Please email us if you have any specific accommodation requests. Feel free to share this call with anyone else in the UT community who may be interested. We look forward to seeing you in October!
