Harrison Keller
Vice Provost and Executive Director

Dr. Harrison Keller is Vice Provost for Higher Education Policy and Research and Executive Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to coming to UT Austin, Dr. Keller served as director of research for the Texas House of Representatives and senior education policy analyst for the speaker of the Texas House. He is an appointed board member of the Prepaid Higher Education Tuition Board that oversees the state college savings plans, has worked with Texas state leaders to develop and pass major education budget and policy proposals.

 

Dr. Dawn Zimmaro is Senior Director and Director of Assessment in the Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Texas at Austin.  Prior to coming to UT Austin, Dr. Zimmaro served as an Educational Testing Associate for University Testing Services and Coordinator of Learning Assessment Programs and Research for the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence at Penn State University. She collaborates with faculty, administrators, and staff on higher education issues related educational research, educational testing, classroom assessment, student placement and credit by examination, and student evaluations of instruction.

Dr. Michael Sweet is Director of Instructional Development in the Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Texas at Austin.  Michael's academic and professional interests revolve around the relationship between the individual and the group—and the transformative potential for both when that relationship is structured and nourished.  Michael has published and presented widely on Team-Based Learning and critical thinking, and is president-elect of the international Team-Based Learning Collaborative.
