Exciting Association of College and School Educators (ACUE) updates as we enter spring! Thirteen UT faculty members recently gained their microcredential in Inspiring Inquiry and Lifelong Learners. The next ACUE microcredential course will be Designing Learner-Centered Courses. Lastly, the ACUE team is honoring the University of Texas System as a 2024 Movement Maker.

This was a 6 week asynchronous course where the participants completed modules, applied what they learned in the classroom, and wrote reflections each week. Thank you for your continual professional development!

Upcoming ACUE opportunities

For those who are interested in gaining microcredentials, the next ACUE course will be Designing Learner-Centered Courses. The application deadline is May 6, and the course will begin on May 13. 

2024 Movement Maker Award

Additionally, the ACUE team is honoring the University of Texas System as a 2024 Movement Maker during the National Higher Education Teaching Conference (NHETC) this summer. ACUE stated, "Your outstanding contributions to student success on campus have not gone unnoticed, and we believe your dedication deserves to be celebrated on a grand scale. NHETC is an incredible gathering of like-minded professionals, and your recognition as a Movement Maker will undoubtedly inspire and motivate others in the field."
