Blackboard & Canvas LMS
Blackboard is a longstanding learning management system that has helped faculty make better use of the Web in their classes. Blackboard at UT enables faculty and students to communicate and collaborate through real-time chats, threaded discussions, class e-mail, and online file exchanges. Faculty can create assessments and manage student grades, including the ability to import results from test scanning services. Blackboard also integrates with the Early Academic Warning System (EAWS). The community section of Blackboard allows departments and organizations to use these tools in a non-course environment.
