The Center for Teaching and Learning partners with UT Austin faculty, staff, and administrators in conducting educational research related to student readiness and achievement and effectiveness of innovations in course instruction and design.
Research topics related to student readiness and achievement include: identifying variables that predict success in college; the relationship of national standardized test scores to other variables; and the impact of credit by examination on performance in college. Research topics related to innovations in course instruction and design include: analyzing the impact of content delivery methods; testing approaches; and the effects of technology on teaching and student learning.
