Consulting Services are open to faculty and graduate student instructors and are provided in three professional areas: teaching, assessment and technology. The consulting services provided are confidential and at no cost.

Teaching

Teaching consultations are collaborative discussions with the goal of increasing your enjoyment and effectiveness as a teacher. Topics can include:

• increasing student engagement
• teaching to cultivate motivation and critical thinking
• nuts-and-bolts tips for grading efficiently, managing office hours, etc..
• instructional strategies based on effective practice and learning science research
